Commission Regulation Establishing The Conditions Of Use Of Activated Alumina For The Removal Of Fluoride, And Of Oxyhydroxide Media For The Removal Of Manganese, Iron And Arsenic From Natural Mineral Waters And Spring Waters

The use of activated alumina media for the removal of fluoride from natural mineral waters and spring waters, where it is present in the water naturally and is not a result of contamination, shall be allowed in accordance with the present Regulation. The use of oxhydroxide media that are specified in Annex II to the present Regulation for the removal of manganese, iron and arsenic from natural mineral waters and spring waters, where they are present in the water naturally and are not a result of contamination, shall be allowed in accordance with the present Regulation.
